One of the main skills needed for a data scientist is of course statistical knowledge. Knowledge about In theoretical statistics and inferential statistics will be helpful for a good data scientist at various areas of its development. Before this one needs basic mathematical knowledge to solve problems which arises in day to day activities of various businesses. In order to acquire statistical knowledge a student can join for a bachelor's degree in statistics in any of the colleges available. Otherwise anyone can take courses from websites like edX to study statistics from world leading universities like MIT, Harvard or Stanford.
Secondly a data scientist needs good programming knowledge in any of the modern application programs like Java or Python. Coding skills is so important because it is crucial to retrive analyse data with the help of good codes from cloud-based environment.
If you are good in programming you should go for better statistical knowledge and apply your programming skills to become a good data scientist. On the other hand if you have a good suggestion you are studying a good programming language and expertise in coding to become a good data scientist. It is irrelevant that from which area you are coming from because the opportunities around the world in data science is growing exponentially
So I welcome all of you who knows statistics I know programming to the world of data science in order to prove your skill and earn like anything.
This is the age of data and Data Analytics. Every single machine, every single institution and every single information system in the modern world is creating very huge amount of data. Data science is the art of finding the heart of data.To find the mathematical photograph of the internal structure and organisation of the data is the primary act of a data scientist. Take it or not you are living in the age of Data Analytics. The motto of the modern ages is 'analyse or die'!!.
