Hey.... The age of Data Analytics has started. With the advent of inter Information Technology at its maximum the amount of data created by the Machines and information systems is huge. This huge amount of data contains valuable information about the environment from which it came. To analyse this data is a big ask even for an expert statistician. In order to analyse big data a number of kills has to converge in one person. He is the big data analyst.
Next 20 years is going to be the golden years for big data analysis and data scientists. Data scientist should be a good statistician, a good computer programmer, and a good communicator. The analytics industry is going to be on high in the coming years.
If you are good in mathematics and statistics there is no scope of second thoughts to become a data scientist. From calculus to Linear algebra, from set theory the probability theory, from theoretical statistics to inferential statistics, it all converts to one place... Data science.
